Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Matej Rambo!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Williams breaks the clinch.
Williams gets a takedown into half guard.
Rambo trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Williams manages to pass to mount!
Williams with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Williams working away from the top, dropping strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rambo wants to control but Williams is having none of it.
Williams wants to control the pace but Rambo is squirming around nicely.
Rambo tries to get back to half guard but can't.

You get the feeling that Rambo really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Williams prevents Rambo from getting the reversal.
Rambo is still trying to improve position.

Williams will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Williams is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Rambo has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Williams is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Williams looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Rambo!
Rambo wants to get back to his feet but Williams is dominant here and he's now got Rambo's back!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rambo turns into Williams and is now in his guard.
Rambo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Williams swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Williams throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Williams looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Williams is breathing heavily.
Rambo throwing strikes from guard but Williams blocks nicely.

Rambo won't allow Williams to get back to his feet.
Rambo throws a big elbow that misses.
Rambo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Williams is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Williams has escaped and now he's on top!
Rambo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Williams can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Williams is posturing up here but Rambo has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Williams tries to roll out but it's too tight and Williams has to tap! Slick submission there by Rambo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Matej Rambo!
Matej Rambo opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
