Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jonqw Fray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jet Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fray fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Li looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Li lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Fray has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
No luck for Fray with that takedown attempt.
Li bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Li looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Fray cracks Li with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Jet Li has been cut.
Li tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fray was well out of range. Poor timing from Li.

Li clobbers Fray with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Li tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Fray is able to avoid easily.

Li lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Fray shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Li sprawls well. Li wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fray gets slowly back to his feet.

Fray closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Li tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fray wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Fray is looking to take a break and control but Li is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Fray is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Li has managed to free his arm - good work.

Fray is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Li doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fray.

Li has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fray is working away from the top position though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Fray with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Li to score with a decent uppercut.

Horrible takedown attempt by Fray or perhaps it was just good defense by Li, which made it look bad.

Li throws out a loose jab but Fray uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fray gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Fray misses with a hook. Li ducked under it nicely.

Li throws a series of punches but Fray avoids them all with ease.
Li just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromFray.

Fray is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Fray shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Li manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Li feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Frays jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Li feints a jab promting Fray to slip. Li then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Fray slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Li throws a lazy right hand but Fray sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jet Li is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Fray cracks Li with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Li looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Fray finish him?

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Li throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fray stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Jet Li is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Li has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
