Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bashaad Al Hammad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dilon Goncalves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goncalves has chosen TAPOUT as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goncalves drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Al Hammad's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Goncalves is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Al Hammad knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Goncalves tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Goncalves has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
