Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ernesto Randall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Omar Williams!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams with a lazy takedown attempt

and Randall holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Williams looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Williams gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Randall.
Williams tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Randall wants the takedown. Williams is fighting it off but Randall persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Williams's guard against the cage.
Randall postures up and lands a big shot to Williams's brow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Randall content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Randall cracks Williams with a solid left hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Randall is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Randall chips away with some ground and pound.

Randall lands a couple of elbows.

Randall thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Randall really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Randall scoring with punches to the head and body.
Randall has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Randall's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Randall is working Williams over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Randall seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Randall is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Randall postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Randall landing some decent shots from guard.
Randall connects with a couple of short punches.
Randall looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Randall is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Randall decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Randall drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Randall is standing up over Williams. Williams looks to escape but Randall dives into side control.

Randall in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Randall landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Randall lands a nice forearm strike.
Randall is staying tight to Williams's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Randall is putting a hurting on Williams here, landing some big shots from side control.
Randall looks up at the clock and then as Williams takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Randall smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!


Williams is rocked!
Williams seems a little lost for a moment, as Randall dominates the positioning.
Williams is still in real trouble! Can Randall finish him?
Randall gets to mount! Williams was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Randall controlling from mount.
Williams is in a horrible position here. Randall smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Randall with the ground and pound from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ernesto Randall dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!



Randall lands a huge takedown. Williams is out but the ref is slow to react and Randall lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Williams lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ernesto Randall!
