Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Irwin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Scott Murley!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Irwin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Irwin throws a low kick but it's checked well by Murley.
Irwin has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Irwin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Murley counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A thudding body kick lands there by Irwin!
Murley keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Murley scores with a sloppy right hand. Irwin should have avoided that one.
Murley looks to score with a jab to the body but Irwin is just out of range.
Irwin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Murley manages to avoid it.
Irwin throws a series of punches but Murley avoids them all with ease.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Irwin just misses with a punch to the body.
Murley connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Irwin is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Murley is defending well for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Murley lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Irwin misses with the head strike.
Irwin wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Murley lands a hook to the side of the head.

Murley breaks the clinch.
Murley fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Murley lands with an overhand left.


Irwin is rocked!
Irwin throws a leg kick
and Murley counters with a huge left! Irwin is in big trouble! He's backing up but Murley isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Irwin from any more damage. A dominating finish by Murley!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scott Murley!
Our winner, Scott Murley, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
