Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Baby Boy Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Baby Boy Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jorge Santos!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos thows a leg kick but Harris checks it
and Harris counters with a straight right hand.
Harris takes a jab right on the kisser.
Harris tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Santos is able to avoid easily.
Harris throws a one two combo.
Harris throws the left hand but Santos avoids the punch easily.
Santos feints the counter takedown.
Some wild striking there from Harris.
Nice sprawl there from Harris as Santos shoots in.
Harris tried to counter with a leg kick but Santos avoided it.

Santos drives through with a takedown into guard.
Santos trying to control the position from guard on top but Harris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Santos postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Santos working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Santos is in close to Harris's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Santos throws a big right hand that misses.
Harris will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Santos seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Santos accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Santos postures up and lands a big shot to Harris's brow.
Santos is looking to work some ground and pound but Harris has wrist control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Santos feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Harris's calf.
Harris is looking to clinch.

Santos motions for Harris to come forward. Santos throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

And Harris counters with a quick kick to the body but Santos blocks it.
Harris shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Santos eats them both and turns towards Harris to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Harris tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Santos is able to avoid easily.
Santos tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Harris falls off balance throwing a combination
and Santos cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Harris tries to clinch there but Santos circles away.
Santos fails to land the takedown.
Santos is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Harris.

Harris takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Santos shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Harris napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Santos is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Harris has escaped the position, nice work there.
Santos tries to score with some ground and pound. Harris controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Harris is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Santos has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Harris is looking to regain half guard here but Santos keeps moving and retains side control.
Santos has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Harris avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Santos.
Santos looks up at the clock and then as Harris takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Santos smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jorge Santos will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Harris is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Santos presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Santos is pushing Harris up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Harris swings wildly with an uppercut but Santos uses good head movement to avoid it.

Harris is looking to control Santos's arms but Santos gets an underhook and turns him. Now Harris has his back to the cage.

No joy there for Harris, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Santos with the counter takedown but Harris avoids it easily.
Harris takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Santos misses with a takedown attempt - Harris sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
It looked like Harris wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Harris pushes Santos away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Santos gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

That was a close second round but I would say that Baby Boy Harris will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Harris takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

The referee is keeping an eye on Santos - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Harris is trying to maintain a safe position but Santos gets an underhook and turns Harris into the cage.

Santos is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Harris can't fight it off and eventually Santos manages to take the fight to the floor. Harris looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Santos not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Santos working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Santos is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Harris is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

I think Santos has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
