Greene is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Oakland. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greene swats away the attempt to clinch by Stapranolov.
Sloppy strikes from Greene. Those never looked like landing.
A slow jab from Greene misses its intended target.
Stapranolov is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Aytsev Stapranolov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Some wild striking there from Greene.

Greene closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Greene grinds an elbow into Stapranolov's temple.
Stapranolov taking punishment in the form of punches.
Stapranolov pushes Greene away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Greene gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Stapranolov trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Greene cracks Stapranolov with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Stapranolov is trying to buck Greene off.

Stapranolov takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Stapranolov takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Stapranolov is working to avoid the ground and pound but Greene connects with a decent elbow.

Stapranolov is trying to buck Greene off.

Stapranolov is working to avoid the ground and pound but Greene connects with a decent elbow.

Greene scores with a couple of short elbows.
Greene works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Greene creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Stapranolov is rocked!

Greene is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Stapranolov is trying to escape and Greene transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Stapranolov is forced to tap! Nice work there by Greene! Very nice indeed!
