Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cody Chalke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Baals (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chalke's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Operation Blade. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baals motions for Chalke to come forward. Baals throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Baals rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Chalke counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Baals thinking.
Baals fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chalke manages to avoid it.

Some bone on bone action there as Chalke checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Baals goes for a double leg but Chalke avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Chalke continues to drive forward.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Baals bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Chalke's guard.

Baals drops back, looking for a kneebar! Chalke looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Chalke looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Chalke!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
