Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jacks Sole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 15 - 1, fighting out of New York, Bruno Aires!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sole throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Sole misses with a two punch combination.
Aires throws out a counter right but Sole avoids it with no problem.
Sole walks into a jab.
Sole throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Sole digs a good body shot into Aires's ribs.
Aires looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Aires thows a leg kick but Sole checks it
and Sole makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Aires really felt that one!
A looping hook to the body misses from Sole. Aires does a little dance to reset his feet.
Aires now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Aires tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sole was well out of range. Poor timing from Aires.
Sole scores with a kick to the midsection.
A leg kick checked by Sole.
Aires dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Aires slips under a jab from Sole.
Aires changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A bone on bone clash there as Sole blocks the leg kick.

Sole lands with a cross.
Aires misses with a leg kick.
Sole has been working on his boxing with his coaches at White Eagle in the buildup to the fight.
Bruno Aires seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sole looks to land a body kick but Aires moved away.
Sole throws a leg kick that misses.
Sole misses with an attempted mid kick.
Jacks Sole is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Aires takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Sole throws a head kick that misses
and Aires makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Sole tries to move into range but Aires moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Sole misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Aires swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Sole lands a nice leg kick that just misses Aires's sensitive parts.
Sole looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Sole throws a body kick that misses.
Sole throws a lazy head kick
and Aires counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Sole goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Aires misses with a straight left.
Sole is looking to counter punch.
Aires throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Aires pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sole throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Aires throws a big shot that misses.
Sole keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Aires.
Aires throws a shot from downtown. Sole moves away and avoids it.
Aires checks a low kick from Sole.
Aires uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sole.
Sole swings for the body but Aires moves out of range.
Aires misses with a body shot.
Aires shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sole sprawls well. Sole wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Aires gets slowly back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sole takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Aires throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sole's waist but Sole gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Aires off to one side.
Sole fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Aires is out of range.
Aires shoots in for a takedown but Sole shows good takedown defense.
Jacks Sole has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruno Aires.
Aires attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Sole scores with a spinning back kick!
Aires looks winded!
Aires misses with a lunging right hand
and Sole counters with a nice uppercut.
Crunch! Sole slams his shin into Aires's torso.
That kick from Sole tenderised Aires's leg. Aires is trying to keep his angry face on.
Nice uppercut lands for Sole. That snapped Aires's head back.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sole goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Aires moves out of range of the body kick from Sole.
Aires misses with a right hand
and Sole counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sole scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
No luck for Aires with that takedown attempt.
Sole swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Aires.
Aires throws a big shot that misses.
Aires misses with a low kick.
Aires throws a poor cross that misses
and Sole counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Aires on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Aires walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sole checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jacks Sole dominated that round.
That's time! Sole's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Sole throws a body kick that misses
and Aires counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Sole throws a head kick that misses
and Aires makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Jacks Sole is winning the standup battle so far.
Sole throws a lazy body kick

and Aires decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sole's guard.
Sole is controlling Aires's posture.
Aires throwing strikes but missing.
Sole not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Sole has momentary wrist control but Aires slips an elbow through the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aires lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Aires is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Aires throwing strikes but missing.
Aires sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Aires got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sole has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Aires has managed to get both his arms back between Sole's legs - danger averted.
Sole trying to control the position here.
Aires chips away with some ground and pound.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sole is on top in guard.


Aires has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sole is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Aires.

Sole passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Aires!
Aires wants to hold on but Sole pushes him away.
Aires tries to reverse the position but Sole maintains control.
Sole lands a big elbow.
Sole scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Aires is squirming around, avoiding Sole's attempts to control the action.
Sole lands a big elbow.
Sole with the ground and pound from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Aires is desperately trying to improve his position but Sole has a good base and remains in mount.
Sole looking to control but Aires is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

The referee warns Aires that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Aires is rocked!
Aires takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Sole's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jacks Sole!
Jacks Sole decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
