Loel comes into the arena with Eighteen Vision - Tower of Snakes blaring out of the sound system. Jeremy Ring has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Yuri Loel's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yuri Loel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 44 - 28 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jeremy Ring!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ring throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Loel counters with a straight right hand.
A head kick by Ring misses
and Loel counters with a straight right hand.
Loel missing with a left hand there. Ring was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Ring slips a straight right by Loel.
Loel scores with a shot to the body.
Ring gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Loel.
Ring throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ring throws a low kick but it's checked well by Loel.
Ring slips a straight right by Loel.
Ring tries a head kick but it misses.
Ring throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A little feinted left hand from Loel on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Loel tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ring swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Loel rushes Ring and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Loel blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ring.
Ring misses with a punch on the inside.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Loel softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Loel throws a punch but it's blocked by Ring.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Ring.
A short uppercut from Ring.
Loel lands with a short shot to the head.
Loel lands a hook that snaps the head of Ring backwards.
Ring is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Loel is defending well for now.
Loel avoiding damage as Ring throws knees to the body.
Ring blocks an uppercut.
Loel tries a knee to the head but Ring blocks it.
Loel lands with a light punch inside.
Loel with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Ring's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ring blocking some punches.
Ring misses with a knee to the head.
Loel lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Ring looking to throw knees to the head but Loel is blocking nicely.
Ring doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Ring escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Loel thows a left - swing and a miss!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Oooooh!!! Loel has knocked Ring down with a huge combo! Loel steps away and waves a wobbly Ring back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Ring is rocked!
Ring tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ring is still on wobbly legs! Can Loel finish him?
A big left from Loel misses.
Ring pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ring seems to have recovered his senses.
Ring lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Loel throws a series of punches but Ring avoids them all with ease.
Ring misses with the body kick
and Loel counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Loel misses with a double jab.
Ring pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Loel wants to clinch.
Loel definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Loel looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ring raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Ring moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Loel cracks Ring with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Ring lands a nice looking body kick.
Loel avoids the head kick by Ring.
Loel throws a jab when Ring was well out of range.
Jab, jab by Loel - just one landing.
Ring throws a head kick that misses.
Loel swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Jeremy Ring seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ring throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Loel appears to be looking for a big counter.
Ring throws a head kick but Loel moves out of range.
Loel seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Loel is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Loel blocks a head kick by Ring.
Loel throws a nice looking combination but Ring bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ring is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Loel lands a left and a right that send Ring crashing to the mat, dazed. Loel thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ring waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Loel.
Loel checks a low kick from Ring.

Loel drops Ring with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ring looks back up at him and smiles so Loel waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ring pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No joy there for Ring, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ring leaves his chin hanging out and Loel seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Ring crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Yuri Loel!
A relieved looking Yuri Loel thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
