Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nicodemus Adamantium!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Orlando Boom!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adamantium is looking to clinch.
Boom's jab looks to have found its range, popping Adamantium under the eye.
Boom throws a nice inside leg kick.
Adamantium cracks Boom with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Orlando Boom has been cut.
Adamantium lands with a right hand.
Boom's coach down at Red Tri-Angle Gym. 15 Coaches/13 Elite was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Boom's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Adamantium closes the distance but Boom moves to the side
enabling Boom to counter with a crisp jab.
Adamantium is rocked!
Adamantium circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Boom. Adamantium falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Boom!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Orlando Boom!
After the fight, Orlando Boom was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
