The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Djordjevic wants to clinch

and Jims counters with a nice double leg into side control. Djordjevic won't be happy with that.
Djordjevic wants to get back to his feet but Jims drags him back down.

Jims is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Djordjevic is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jims advances to mount.
Djordjevic's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Jims wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Jims won't let Djordjevic get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Jims lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Djordjevic is squirming around, avoiding Jims's attempts to control the action.

Djordjevic bucks up and throws Jims to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
Djordjevic wants to clinch but Jims slips to the side

Djordjevic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jims. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
