And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bryan Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duplesris bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Johnson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Duplesris throws out a powerful jab.
Duplesris throws a one two combo.
Johnson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Johnson smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Sloppy strikes from Duplesris. Those never looked like landing.
Duplesris lands a two punch combo.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Duplesris throws a series of punches but Johnson moves out of range.
Seth Duplesris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Duplesris misses with a few strikes there.
Johnson now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Duplesris throws a series of strikes that have Johnson backpedaling.
Nice shot lands for Duplesris.


Johnson is rocked!
Johnson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Duplesris connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Johnson scrambles back to his feet.
Johnson is still on wobbly legs! Can Duplesris finish him?
Duplesris swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Johnson! But no joy.
Johnson seems to have recovered his senses.

Duplesris throws a right and a left that Johnson avoids nicely.

Johnson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Duplesris scores with a crisp jab that stopped Johnson in his tracks.
Johnson throws a series of punches but Duplesris avoids them all with ease.
Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Duplesris has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Sydney Fight Team in the buildup to the fight.
Duplesris dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Johnson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Duplesris throws a nice looking combination but Johnson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Duplesris misses with a series of wild punches.
Johnson misses with an uppercut

and Duplesris counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Duplesris postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Duplesris keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Johnson's head.

Duplesris cracks Johnson with a solid left hand.
Duplesris has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Duplesris slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Johnson can't keep his opponent in guard - Duplesris advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Duplesris takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Duplesris seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Johnson is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
