Simmons is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 3Hunna. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crushman scores with a crisp jab that stopped Simmons in his tracks.
Crushman tries a low kick but Simmons avoids it.
Crushman scores with a jab to the jaw.
Simmons connects with a good right hand that stumbles Crushman. Crushman circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Daniel Crushman has been cut.
Simmons slips under a jab.
Simmons scores with the left hand. Crushman knows he should have avoided that one.
A punch lands to the side of Crushman 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Crushman looks to land a left hand but Simmons moved out of range nicely.
Simmons swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Simmons lands a jab to the head.
Simmons catches Crushman with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Simmons feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Crushmans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Simmons lands with an uppercut that bounces Crushman off the cage and back into range.

Daniel Crushman's cut is getting worse.
Crushman lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Crushman shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Simmons eats them both and turns towards Crushman to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Crushman lands with an uppercut that bounces Simmons off the cage and back into range.
Simmons jabs Crushman right on the nose. Crushman blinks but takes it well.
Crushman takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Crushman moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Simmons smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Crushman misses with a few strikes there.
Crushman connects with a solid leg kick.
A big right from Simmons misses.

Crushman lands a big shot that drops Simmons! Can he finish him?

Simmons is rocked!

It looks like Brandon Simmons has been cut.
Crushman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Simmons is keeping the position for now.
Simmons wants to stand up but Crushman is controlling him.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Crushman goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Simmons rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Crushman's guard! Nice work there by Simmons!

Crushman looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Simmons has picked Crushman up and slammed him! Crushman can't keep hold of the triangle and Simmons manages to pass to side control!

Simmons wants to stand but Crushman is controlling his arm.
Crushman is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Crushman is trying to maintain the position but Simmons is very close to passing his half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Simmons trying to mount his opponent but Crushman defends it.
Crushman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Simmons is working away from the top position though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Simmons moves out of range as Crushman strikes.
Crushman with a jab.
Simmons lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Crushman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Simmons circles away.
Simmons moves out of range of the leg kick from Crushman.
Brandon Simmons is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Simmons lands a head shot.

Crushman forces Simmons back against the cage and clinches.
Simmons misses with a short punch on the inside.
A short right from Simmons on the inside.
Crushman blocks a body shot from Simmons.
Crushman misses with a hook from the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Brandon Simmons will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Crushman connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Simmons momentarily.
Crushman takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Simmons tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Crushman swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Simmons works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A looping hook to the body misses from Crushman. Simmons does a little dance to reset his feet.

Simmons drops Crushman with a beautiful combination! Crushman stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Simmons is looking for the KO!

Daniel Crushman's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Simmons displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Crushman throws out the jab.
Simmons looks to score with a jab to the body but Crushman is just out of range.

Crushman lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Brandon Simmons seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Simmons gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Crushman scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Crushman has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Crushman there as he acknowledges the shot.
Crushman missing with a left hand there. Simmons was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Simmons takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Crushman lands a leg kick that knocks Simmons off balance momentarily.
Simmons will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Simmons is still on wobbly legs! Can Crushman finish him?
Simmons thuds a left hand into Crushman's body.
Simmons seems to have recovered his senses.
Simmons might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Simmons lands a nice shot that snaps Crushman's head back.

Jeez, Daniel Crushman's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Crushman doesn't manage to clinch there - Simmons circles away.
