Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Coner Maygregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maygregor lands a really nice looking cross but Williams seems unphased.

Maygregor closes the distance and lands a one-two.

and Williams counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Maygregor is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Williams presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Williams decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Maygregor, up you get!
The crowd cheers as Maygregor lands an impressive looking overhand right. Williams doesn't seem phased though.
Williams shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Maygregor as he jumps to the side.
Maygregor is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Williams has a takedown stuffed.
Maygregor throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Williams tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Williams tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Williams has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Williams has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Maygregor is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Williams yanks on the arm and Maygregor is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Williams.
