Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Royal Vinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randall Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Couture clinches up with Vinson and pushes him back against the cage.
Vinson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Couture walks away with a smile on his face. Vinson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Couture scores with a nice right hand.

It looks like Royal Vinson has been cut.
Vinson scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Couture misses with a jab, cross combination.

Vinson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Couture tries to get to full guard but Vinson has control of the leg.

Vinson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Couture doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Vinson.
Couture wants to get back to full guard.
Vinson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Couture's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vinson tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Couture.
Vinson thows a huge punch but Couture dodges it nicely.
Vinson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Couture keeps working.

Vinson stands up and beckons Couture to join him on the feet.
Couture slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Couture swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Vinson.
Vinson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Vinson is rocked!

Royal Vinson's cut is getting worse.
Couture weaves into range and cracks Vinson right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Vinson goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Couture is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
