Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ray Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Ringo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bailey's entrance music is Fuck Tha Police. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ray Bailey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Ringo!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ringo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bailey.
Ray Bailey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A shot to the liver by Bailey. Beautiful body shot.
Ringo displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Ringo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.


Bailey is rocked!
Nice body kick there by Bailey.
Oh Bailey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ringo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bailey circles away quickly and effectively.
Ringo avoids the head kick by Bailey.
Bailey seems to have got his legs back now.
Bailey throws a series of strikes that have Ringo backpedaling.


It looks like Johnny Ringo has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bailey scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Ringo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ringo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Ringo is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Ringo's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Ringo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bailey keeps working.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Ringo scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bailey to see if he's OK.

and Ringo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bailey's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Ringo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ringo wants to take Bailey's back but he can't do it this time.
Ringo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Bailey can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Ringo content just to control the position here.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Ringo is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Bailey has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Bailey!

Ringo sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Bailey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bailey misses with a combination
and Ringo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bailey is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Bailey goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Ringo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bailey throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ringo.
Ringo throws a right and a left that Bailey avoids nicely.

Ringo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bailey sprawls well initially but Ringo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bailey pushes Ringo away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ringo gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ringo goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bailey rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Ringo's guard! Nice work there by Bailey!

Ringo has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bailey off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

I would just about give that final round to Johnny Ringo.
I've got Ringo winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ray Bailey spoke after the fight, saying 'i'll be back bigger, better and stronger. I'll fight anybody anywhere bitches'.
