With the fighters clinched against the cage, Diaz creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Gunner goes for a takedown attempt but Diaz pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Diaz drops Gunner with a beautiful combination! Gunner stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Diaz is looking for the KO!
Diaz stuns Gunner with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Diaz connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Diaz scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gunner doesn't seem bothered though.

and Diaz counters with a crisp one two that drops Gunner! Diaz thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Gunner to his feet! Gunner is in big trouble!

Gunner is rocked!
Gunner drops his hands for a split second and Diaz immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Gunner face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Diaz follows up with a right hand that knocks Gunner into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
