The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ducati drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Ducati would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Ducati sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Ducati tries to free his leg and advance position but Watts is retaining full guard.
Ducati controlling from the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ducati stands and steps away. Watts gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Nice takedown defense from Ducati. No joy for Watts on that attempt.

Ducati closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Watts could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Ducati darts in and clinches Watts up against the cage.

Ducati tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Ducati fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Watts sprawls well initially but Ducati persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Ducati has control of Watts's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Watts regains control of the situation pretty easily.

A big strike lands for Ducati! That's really hurt Watts and he's turned his back - Ducati keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Ducati jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
