The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickolson slaps away a takedown attempt from Eighteen , before circling back to the center of the mat.
Nickolson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nickolson lands with a good body shot.
Eighteen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nickolson defends it nicely.
Eighteen tries for a takedown but Nickolson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Android Eighteen . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nickolson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Eighteen takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Eighteen takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Nickolson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
No luck for Eighteen with that takedown attempt.

Nickolson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Eighteen .
Eighteen takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Android Eighteen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nickolson lands with a nice body punch.
Eighteen definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Nickolson lands a jab to Eighteen 's midsection.
Eighteen walks straight into a right hand from Nickolson - that's dropped him! Nickolson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Eighteen from any more punishment! Eighteen complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
