Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Curran (ranked 35 p4p, 4 weight class) and Tomomi Tsuruta (ranked 1039 p4p, 126 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tomomi Tsuruta!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Tsuruta darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Curran seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
