Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between James Franklin (ranked 3000 p4p, 149 weight class) and Oshan Jackson (ranked 702 p4p, 38 weight class). Franklin comes into the arena with Tron Cat- Tyler, The Creator blaring out of the sound system. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Franklin moves away.
Franklin tries to counter with a takedown but Jackson is quick to defend against it.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jackson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jackson connects with a nice short shot to Franklin's temple.

Franklin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jackson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Franklin has managed to get both his arms back between Jackson's legs - danger averted.

Franklin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jackson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Franklin has Jackson in his guard.


Franklin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jackson defends well.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jackson's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Jackson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Franklin has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jackson is looking to defend but Franklin has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jackson! Franklin pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jackson taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). James Franklin!
A very excited looking James Franklin made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
The defeated Oshan Jackson had this to say: 'I tryed my best i want to thank the fans for coming out and supporting me. Ill be back and next time ill get the finish for you guys.'.
