The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zapata comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Zapata throws the left hand but Jones avoids the punch easily.
No luck for Jones with that takedown attempt.
Jones ducks under a wild hook from Zapata.
Jones moves out of range of the strikes.
Eusebio Zapata seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Zapata defends well and Jones ends up having to push Zapata into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Jones tries to bum rush Zapata with a series of wild strikes but Zapata uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Zapata shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Jones takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Zapata sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Jones bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
