Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Casper Alvbris (ranked 5865 p4p, 477 weight class) and Kevin Jason (ranked 22029 p4p, 597 weight class). Alvbris comes to the cage accompanied by Slayer - Bloodline. Jason has chosen G-Eazy - I Mean It ft. Remo as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Casper Alvbris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Kevin Jason!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Alvbris with that takedown attempt.
Alvbris throws an overhand right that lands on Jason's shoulder, as Jason tries to avoid the shot.

Alvbris fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jason sprawls well initially but Alvbris persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Alvbris is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Jason is trying to control but can't.
Alvbris thows a huge punch but Jason dodges it nicely.

Alvbris is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Alvbris is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jason is just riding it out for now. Alvbris eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Alvbris decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jason, up you get!
Alvbris tries to close the distance and clinch but Jason swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nice uppercut lands for Alvbris. That snapped Jason's head back.

Alvbris shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jason's guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Alvbris stays in close to Jason's body and controls the position.

Jason has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Alvbris has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alvbris scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Jason throws a sloppy head kick and Alvbris moves out of range easily.
Alvbris clobbers Jason with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Casper Alvbris is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Alvbris throws a right hand that Jason ducks under and follows up with a left that Jason also avoids with ease.
Alvbris throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jason's waist but Jason gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alvbris off to one side.
Alvbris is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jason can do to turn this around?
Jason jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Alvbris dives in and grabs Jason's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jason pushes down on Alvbris's head and hops out.
Casper Alvbris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Alvbris throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jason's waist but Jason gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alvbris off to one side.

Jason scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Jason tries to counter with a clinch but Alvbris shakes him off and moves away.
Jason throws a head kick that misses.
Alvbris keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Alvbris dives in for a single leg takedown but Jason sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Jason let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Alvbris throws a sloppy head kick and Jason moves out of range easily.
Jason avoids a punch combination nicely.
Alvbris misses with a takedown
and Jason counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Alvbris bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Jason throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Alvbris looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Alvbris closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Jason is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Alvbris, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
