Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luigi Helmut (ranked 2445 p4p, 304 weight class) and Jason ReConnor (ranked 5666 p4p, 572 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Helmut might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Make It Wit Chu - Queens Of The Stone Age. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helmut throws a right and a left that both miss.
ReConnor tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
ReConnor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Helmut's waist but Helmut gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing ReConnor off to one side.
Helmut shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. ReConnor defends it nicely.

ReConnor drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Helmut dives on top into guard.
