Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Cortes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Horrace Holgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cortes is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Cortes is breathing heavily.
Cortes fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Cortes pushes off an throws an elbow but Holgar leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Cortes is trying to stall.
A right hook to the body lands for Holgar.
Holgar lands with a light punch inside.
Holgar lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Holgar lands a hook to the side of the head.
Holgar lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

It looks like Ron Cortes has been cut.
Holgar lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Cortes's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Holgar lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Cortes or not.
Holgar throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Cortess head.

Cortes is rocked!
Holgar lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Oh Cortes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Holgar digs a right hand into Cortes's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Cortes's gas tank.
Holgar looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Holgar throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Holgar is leaning against Cortes and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Holgar breaks from the clinch.
Holgar finds Cortes's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Cortes flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Holgar lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Cortes will be OK.
