Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Adriano Silva!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Silva with the counter takedown but Henney avoids it easily.
Henney moves out of range of the leg kick from Silva.
Henney ducks under a wild hook from Silva.
Henney tries to counter by clinching up but Silva breaks away and moves out of range.
Silva stuffs the takedown attempt from Henney. Henney gets slowly back to his feet.

Henney closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Henney pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Silva leaves Henney with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Liam Henney. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Henney walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Henney shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Silva tries to keep at a distance but Henney has taken the fight into the clinch.
Henney has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Silva avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Silva gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Silva is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Henney knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.
Henney looking for a sweep. Not yet Henney, not yet.
Silva's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Silva won't allow Henney to sweep him here.
Silva throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Henney works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Silva slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Henney looks calm but he's in trouble here. Silva gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Henney is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Silva lets go of the hold and Henney can pop his arm back in it's socket.
