Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Al Haymon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kell Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Jones.
Jones tries for a takedown but Haymon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jones tries to clinch but Haymon moves away
letting Haymon counter with a right hand.
Jones slips a jab and a cross from Haymon.
Jones tries to counter by closing the distance.
Haymon connects with a nice looking jab.
Haymon throws a shot to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Haymon misses the target.
Haymon lands a big right hand that sends Jones crashing to the mat! Haymon stays standing though and waves Jones back to his feet!
It looks like Kell Jones has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones tries for a takedown but Haymon circles away easily
and Haymon counters with a left to the body.
Nice body punch from Haymon.
Jones looks winded!
Jones steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Haymon.
And Jones tries to counter it with a takedown but Haymon pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Jones's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Haymon connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jones scrambles back to his feet.
Jones misses with a takedown attempt - Haymon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
An attempted straight right counter from Haymon misses the target.
Al Haymon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kell Jones.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones looks to clinch
and Haymon counters with a crisp right that sends Jones to the canvas! Haymon follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Al Haymon!
After winning the bout, Al Haymon thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
