The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbot slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Odori is breathing heavily.
Abbot ducks under a wild hook from Odori.
Abbot scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Abbot's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Abbot duly obliges.
Odori on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Odori misses with an uppercut.
Odori tries to work over Abbot's front leg with a kick but Abbot checks it.
Odori takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Abbot ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Odori misses with a left hand
and Abbot counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

After the fight, Tony Abbot was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
