Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Ubereem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jon Ubereem has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jon Ubereem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mike Snow!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Winston Alpacca and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Snow gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Ubereem blocks an uppercut.
Snow cracks Ubereem with a nice body shot.
Snow has Ubereem pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Ubereem manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Snow tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Snow pulls guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Snow wants to sweep here but Ubereem controlling him for the moment.
Snow is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Ubereem has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Ubereem stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Snow swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Snow bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ubereem's guard.


Ubereem has his foot on Snow's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Snow works his way back into a safe position though.
Snow keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ubereem's head.
Snow throwing strikes from guard but Ubereem blocks nicely.
Snow won't allow Ubereem to sweep him here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Snow controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Ubereem will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Snow wants to control from the top but Ubereem keeps moving.
Snow throws a big elbow that misses.
Ubereem wants to get back to his feet but Snow is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Snow looking to pass the guard.
Snow passes into half guard.
Ubereem is looking to control Snow's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ubereem avoid being mounted?
Ubereem has hold of Snow's hands but Snow slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Snow working Ubereem over with strikes.
Snow is trying to control. Ubereem wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Snow takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Ubereem tries to roll over but Snow keeps him under control.

Ubereem looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Snow is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Ubereem wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ubereem is refusing to be controlled, as Snow sits in half guard.
Snow working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Snow trying to control the action but Ubereem is working from the bottom.
Snow trying to mount his opponent but Ubereem defends it.
Ubereem moves into full guard.

Snow passes into half guard.

Ubereem looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Snow is looking to advance position but Ubereem won't allow it.
Ubereem wants to control but Snow is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Snow is trying to control. Ubereem wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Nice strikes from Snow there.
Snow throws a strike but Ubereem avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Ubereem has momentary wrist control but Snow slips an elbow through the middle.
Snow stops Ubereem from standing up.

Ubereem had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Snow defends it easily.

Ubereem looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Snow pushing down on Ubereem's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Snow throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Snow sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ubereem defending well though.
Snow working over Ubereem with some ground and pound. Ubereem looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Ubereem works his way to full guard. Good work.
Ubereem keeping moving, preventing Snow from controlling successfully.
Snow postures up in Ubereem's guard and throws a big left but Ubereem blocks it.
Snow pushes down on Ubereem's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Snow working Ubereem over with strikes.
Ubereem is refusing to be controlled, as Snow sits in half guard.

Ubereem is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Snow pulls his head out easily.
Ubereem wants to get back to full guard.
Snow lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Snow dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Ubereem lands with a nice combination. Snow backs away looking to recover.
Ubereem lands a lovely overhand right.
Snow finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Ubereem's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Snow falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon Ubereem!
