Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trenton Funkhouser (ranked 1328 p4p, 196 weight class) and Desmond Bradley (ranked 1499 p4p, 225 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funkhouser comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A big right from Bradley misses.
Funkhouser walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Bradley tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Funkhouser was well out of range. Poor timing from Bradley.
Bradley takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Funkhouser moves away from the strike by Bradley.
Funkhouser appears to be looking for a big counter.
Funkhouser misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Funkhouser throws an off balance right hand
and Bradley counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bradley tries to bum rush Funkhouser with a series of wild strikes but Funkhouser uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Funkhouser misses with a left hand
and Bradley counters with a left to the body.
Bradley is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Funkhouser.
A right-left combo lands from Funkhouser.

Funkhouser gets a double leg takedown into Bradley's guard.

Bradley is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Funkhouser presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Funkhouser stalls.

Funkhouser manages to break the clinch.

Funkhouser swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Bradley's coach down at Wreckshop was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Bradley's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Funkhouser rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bradley moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bradley loads up on a big right hand but Funkhouser slips the punch.

Funkhouser closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bradley did well to prevent Funkhouser getting side control.

Bradley has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Funkhouser is on him like a limpet, forcing Bradley back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bradley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Funkhouser is defended easily by Bradley.
Bradley avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Funkhouser lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bradley circles away quickly and effectively.
A slow jab from Funkhouser misses its intended target.
A head kick misses from Bradley.
Desmond Bradley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bradley misses with a double jab.
Funkhouser feinted with a counter takedown.
Funkhouser closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bradley circles away.
Bradley moves away from the strike by Funkhouser.
Bradley thuds his right hand into Funkhouser's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
A nice combination there by Funkhouser.
Funkhouser throws a series of strikes that have Bradley backpedaling.

Funkhouser gets the takedown into side control.

Bradley explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

As Funkhouser backs off Bradley throws a huge counter combo but Funkhouser manages to avoid it all.
Funkhouser looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Funkhouser is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Bradley is in big trouble! Funkhouser is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Bradley. Poor guy.

Trenton Funkhouser bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
