The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Maddox manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Maddox darts in and clinches Storm up against the ropes.

Maddox keeps control of Storm as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Maddox lands a left hand that snaps the head of Storm backwards.
Storm looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Maddox prevents Storm from breaking the clinch.
Maddox makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Storm is trying to break free.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Storm has had enough of the clinch but Maddox keeps him there for the moment.

Storm breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A nice inside leg kick there by Maddox. That's going to slow Storm down.
Storm pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Maddox scores with a big combo that sends Storm crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but the referee has seen enough as Storm flops around uncontrollably and he's called an end to the fight! Maddox jumps onto the ropes and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Gross.
