Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Childish Gambino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Tonon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gambino comes to the cage accompanied by RAW (backwards). Tonon has chosen What About Now as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gary Tonon!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gambino lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Tonon shoots in but no luck this time.
Gambino appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Gambino definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Childish Gambino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tonon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Tonon drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gambino looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gambino looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gambino!

Gambino decides to stand back up. Gambino steps back and let's Tonon get back to his feet.

Tonon throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gambino tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tonon is in Gambino's guard.

Tonon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gambino looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tonon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gambino is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

My spies in True North Fight Team inform me that Tonon has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Gambino connects with a right that clearly hurt Tonon. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Gambino proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Tonon collapses and taps out under the pressure!
