And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donsone De!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jonathan Paton and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Skeet drops his hands momentarily and De takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Skeet blocks a jab.
De scores with a head kick. Skeet tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Skeet lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
De is looking to clinch but Skeet is avoiding it.
De keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
It seemed like De was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Skeet swings and misses with a shot to the body
and De counters with a slapping leg kick.
Skeet throws a lazy right hand but De sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
De bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Skeet throws an ugly left hook that misses
and De counters with a thumping low kick.
De keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
De slips a jab and a cross from Skeet.
Skeet lands a nice shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Skeet fakes high and swings low for a body shot but De manages to avoid it.
De showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Skeet.

and De makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

De cracks Skeet with a big elbow.
Skeet is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked De off and has taken his back!
Skeet controlling well, preventing De from escaping the position.
De is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

De is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
De breaks Skeet's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

De tries to free his leg and advance position but Skeet is retaining full guard.
De working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
De wants to pass the guard but Skeet is keeping the position.

De wants to control from the top but Skeet keeps moving.
De trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

De cracks Skeet with a solid left hand.
De lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Skeet avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
De missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Skeet trying to keep a closed guard but De is proving a slippery customer.
Skeet wants to stand and escape but De is having none of it.

De working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
De working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Skeet's head.

De wants to control from the top but Skeet keeps moving.
Skeet looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Skeet seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
De working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Skeet's head.


Skeet is rocked!
De loads up on a big left hand. Skeet felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - De looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Skeet can't hide his disappointment, as De celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Donsone De!
