Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Atif Muhammad (ranked 10080 p4p, 795 weight class) and Fred Collins (ranked 10306 p4p, 822 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muhammad pushes Collins away with a front kick.
Muhammad takes a jab right on the kisser.

It looks like Atif Muhammad has been cut.
Muhammad avoids a punch combination nicely.
Collins throws a body punch but Muhammad moves out of range.

Muhammad looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Muhammad is looking for a kimura but Collins is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Muhammad to get the leverage.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Collins manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Muhammad has a couple of punches blocked by Collins.

Collins breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Muhammad walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Muhammad misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Collins swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Fred Collins is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Muhammad dives in and scores a takedown into Collins's guard.
Muhammad throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Collins avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Muhammad lands a couple of elbows.
Muhammad throws a strike but Collins rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Muhammad pushes Collins off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Muhammad uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Collins.
Muhammad is looking to clinch.
Nice defenses there by Muhammad.
Muhammad tries to score a power double leg takedown but Collins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Muhammad somewhat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Muhammad.

Muhammad is breathing heavily.
Collins stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Collins wants it to stay on the feet.

Muhammad fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Collins, pushing him back against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Collins scores with a nice short uppercut.

Muhammad will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A looping hook to the body misses from Collins. Muhammad does a little dance to reset his feet.

Muhammad throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Collins's waist but Collins gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Muhammad off to one side.

Muhammad moves to clinch but Collins breaks away
and Collins counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Muhammad gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Collins to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Collins distracts Muhammad with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Collins content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Collins is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Atif Muhammad overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Muhammad is rocked!

Atif Muhammad's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Muhammad takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Oh Muhammad is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Atif Muhammad is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
No joy there for Collins, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Collins cracks Muhammad with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Muhammad tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Collins pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Muhammad is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Fred Collins tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
