The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solo lands with a nice body punch.
Jones displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Solo.
Solo misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
It looked like Jones wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Solo tries for a takedown but Jones circles away easily
and Jones counters with a good, hard body kick but Solo shrugs it off.
Bo Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lami Solo.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That kick from Jones tenderised Solo's leg. Solo is trying to keep his angry face on.

Solo rushes Jones and presses him up against the cage.
Jones jumps guard but Solo turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

and Jones counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Jones scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Solo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jones defends it nicely.
Jones feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Solo's calf.
