We've been hearing reports that Silva has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Silva walks into a stiff left hand from Vale.

Horrible takedown attempt by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Vale, which made it look bad.
Silva has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Vale finds it's way round the side to connect with Silva's head.

Vale tries to sprawl but Silva drives through with a takedown into half guard.
