Lancing comes into the arena with The Prodigy - Stand Up blaring out of the sound system. Ben Lancing has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alkaev tries for a takedown but Lancing sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lancing throws a jab but it's blocked by Alkaev.
Nice defenses there by Alkaev.
Lancing has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Hard Knocks Training in the buildup to the fight.
Alkaev tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lancing was well out of range. Poor timing from Alkaev.
Lancing was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Alkaev ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Lancing tests Alkaev's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Lancing throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Alkaev sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lancing cracks Alkaev with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Lancing takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

It looks like Ben Lancing has been cut.
Lancing gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Alkaev thows a left - swing and a miss!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A big right from Lancing misses.
Alkaev lands a nice looking body shot.
Lancing pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Alkaev! But no joy.
Alkaev scores with a jab to the jaw.
Alkaev lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Alkaev connects with a body shot that sends Lancing's belly button to the back.
Alkaev throws a jab but it's blocked by Lancing.

Alkaev feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lancing sprawling to the canvas! Lancing rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Alkaev finish him?!

Lancing is rocked!

Oh Lancing is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lancing leaves his chin hanging out and Alkaev seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Lancing crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
