The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutherford moves away from the strike by O Donno.
Rutherford falls off balance throwing a combination
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Rutherford has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Rutherford misses with a head kick.
Rutherford throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

O Donno blocks a head kick by Rutherford.
Rutherford throws a leg kick but O Donno sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Rutherford's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Rutherford duly obliges.

O Donno feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rutherfords jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Rutherford is rocked!

Rutherford walks into a straight right hand and goes down! O Donno rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Rutherford has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.
Rutherford is still on wobbly legs! Can O Donno finish him?
O Donno looks to score with a jab to the body but Rutherford is just out of range.
Rutherford misses with a two punch combination.
Rutherford throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and O Donno connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A nice leg kick lands there from O Donno.
Rutherford leaves his chin hanging out and O Donno seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Rutherford crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
