Hamil's entrance music is I want to know what love is. A fine choice. Bombardo has chosen All of the lights as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bombardo has managed to clinch.

Hamil jumps guard and drags Bombardo to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hamil holds on and takes a little breather.
Bombardo wants to stand and escape but instead Hamil has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Bombardo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Bombardo looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Hamil! Submission of the night perhaps?
