The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schluzenphugher tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sharma manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Schluzenphugher rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sharma moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Schluzenphugher takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Sharma scores with a nice body kick.
Good leg kick by Sharma there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
An inside leg kick lands from Sharma.
Rajesh Sharma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Schluzenphugher digs a good body shot into Sharma's ribs.
Sharma tries a head kick but it misses.
Schluzenphugher tries to clinch up but Sharma circles away and keeps his distance.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Sharma! Schluzenphugher is out on his feet! Sharma rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Schluzenphugher is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Schluzenphugher is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
