The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matsunaga stalks Gump and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gump's face. Gump staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Forest Gump has been cut.
Matsunaga connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Matsunaga misses with a hook. Gump ducked under it nicely.
Matsunaga throws a poor cross that misses

and Gump counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Matsunaga makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Matsunaga bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Gump is rocked!
Matsunaga throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Matsunaga digs a good body shot into Gump's ribs.
Matsunaga looks to land a right hand but Gump moved out of range.
Matsunaga misses with an uppercut.
Gump drops down looking for a counter takedown but Matsunaga sprawls and moves away.
Matsunaga looks to land a left hand but Gump moved out of range nicely.
Matsunaga's jab looks to have found its range, popping Gump under the eye.

Matsunaga catches Gump with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Matsunaga looks to score with a jab to the body but Gump is just out of range.
Matsunaga bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Matsunaga misses with a looping right.
Gump attempts a counter takedown but Matsunaga avoids it well and moves away.
Matsunaga dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gump drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Gump walks into a jab.
Matsunaga bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gump's head backwards.
Gump takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Oh Gump is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Matsunaga walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Gump drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Matsunaga swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Gump's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
