Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Clive Garret!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Frank Turturro!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Winston Alpacca.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turturro has his takedown stuffed
and Garret counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Garret misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Turturro.
Turturro misses with a takedown attempt - Garret sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Turturro moves to clinch but Garret breaks away
and Garret connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Turturro closes the distance looking to clinch
and Garret counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Turturro changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Garret looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Turturro working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Garret wants to control but Turturro postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Turturro is staying tight to Garret's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Garret is not content to let Turturro control the position.
Garret seems a little lost for a moment, as Turturro dominates the positioning.
Garret on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Garret tries to get out of the position.

Turturro tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Turturro has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Turturro wants to control but Garret is keeping him busy.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Garret tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Turturro wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Garret is not content to let Turturro control the position.
What's Garret going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.

Turturro is working to tighten his grip on Garret's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Garret has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Turturro is really squeezing tight and eventually Garret passes out! Turturro breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Frank Turturro decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
