Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nico Hassenkamp (ranked 1829 p4p, 276 weight class) and Corban Storm (ranked 2211 p4p, 341 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Corban Storm enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nico Hassenkamp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Corban Storm!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm takes one to the side of the head.
Hassenkamp takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Storm throws a nice inside leg kick.
Hassenkamp moves out of range of the body kick from Storm.
Hassenkamp throwing a counter right hand but Storm manages to avoid it.
Hassenkamp takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Good leg kick by Storm there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Storm throws out a counter right but Hassenkamp avoids it with no problem.

Storm lands a head kick. Hassenkamp smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Hassenkamp takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Hassenkamp clobbers Storm with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Nico Hassenkamp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Storm slips under a jab.

and Storm counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Storm tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hassenkamp paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hassenkamp wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Storm has him pressed against the cage.

Hassenkamp has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Hassenkamp on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hassenkamp tries to get out of the position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Storm accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hassenkamp is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Rabid Dog that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Hassenkamp is rocked!
Storm loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Hassenkamp scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Storm land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Storm stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Corban Storm!
A determined Corban Storm didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
