Vargas fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Murrillo avoids it really well and circles away.

Vargas is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Murrillo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Vargas sees it coming and defends easily.
Vargas wants to control but Murrillo is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Murrillo is pressing down on Vargas's thigh, looking to free his foot. Vargas is holding on for now.

Vargas has a hand on Murrillo's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Murrillo takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Murrillo has control of Vargas's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Vargas regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Vargas tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Murrillo postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Vargas in real trouble here! The ref calls for Vargas to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
