Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Icarus King (ranked 6127 p4p, 714 weight class) and Rashid Magomedov (ranked 5995 p4p, 705 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King throws a nice looking combination but Magomedov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A little jabbing left from Magomedov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Icarus King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Magomedov slips a jab and a cross from King.
King scores with a punch to the head.
King tries for a takedown but Magomedov circles away easily
and Magomedov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
King throws a series of punches but Magomedov moves out of range.

and Magomedov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Magomedov counters with a big right hand! Oh King is in trouble here! Magomedov follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Rashid Magomedov spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
