Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corwin Anstey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 37 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Brownie Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anstey tries to land a body kick
and Anderson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Anstey throws a head kick but Anderson moves out of range.
Anderson is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Anstey with a body shot.
Anstey changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Anderson tries to avoid it but Anstey manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Anderson to the ground. Anderson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Anstey misses with a double jab

and Anderson counters with a single leg into guard. Anstey didn't expect that.

Anstey kicks Anderson off and gets to his feet.

Anstey gets tackled into the cage by Anderson. Anderson maintains the clinch.

Anstey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Anderson gets caught napping as Anstey dives in and scores a takedown. Anderson manages to retain guard.
Anstey loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Anderson looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Anstey wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Anstey working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Anderson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Anderson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Anstey.
Anderson is trying to keep Anstey in close.
Anstey controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Anderson fails in his attempt to clinch.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Anstey shoots in for a double leg but Anderson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Anstey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Corwin Anstey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anstey throws a left and a right that both miss

and Anderson counters by clinching up.

Anderson manages to break the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Anderson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Anstey swinging wildly here.
Anderson feints the counter takedown.

Anderson clinches.
Anderson lands a nice uppercut.

Anstey tightens his grip and picks Anderson up, before dumping him to the ground. Anderson manages to land in guard.
Anderson throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Anderson wants to stand but Anstey is controlling the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Anderson manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Anderson has closed the distance and engaged Anstey in a clinch.

Anstey breaks the clinch.
Anstey dives in and grabs Anderson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Anderson pushes down on Anstey's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Corwin Anstey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Anderson cracks Anstey with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Anstey darts in trying to clinch

and Anderson counters with a crisp one two that drops Anstey! Anderson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Anstey to his feet! Anstey is in big trouble!


Anstey is rocked!
Anstey is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Oh Anstey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Anstey throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Anderson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Anstey is in Anderson's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Anderson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Anstey's guard.

Anderson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Anstey can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Anderson controls the pace.
Anderson loads up on a big left hand. Anstey felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Anderson looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Anstey can't hide his disappointment, as Anderson celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brownie Anderson!
Brownie Anderson very nearly forgot to thank Humanoid Nutrition (160Q for 180$) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
