Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Iggy Manley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denis Prager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manley comes to the cage accompanied by Born in the USA. Denis Prager has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Iggy Manley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Denis Prager!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Prager takes the fight into the clinch.
Prager gets underhooks to prevent Manley's takedown attempt.

Prager gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Manley regains guard.
Manley tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Manley not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Prager being controlled here momentarily.
Prager seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Manley is fighting to break Prager's control of his arms but Prager is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Manley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Prager's guard.


Prager has his foot on Manley's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Manley works his way back into a safe position though.

Prager has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Manley is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Manley connects with a nice short shot to Prager's temple.
Manley winds up and cracks Prager with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Prager has hold of Manley's hands but Manley slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Iggy Manley will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Prager closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Manley tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Prager wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Prager looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Manley with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Prager can do anything to dispel that myth.

Manley stands up over Prager, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Prager is trying to keep Manley in close.
Manley is working Prager over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Prager throws a lazy right hand but Manley sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Denis Prager has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Iggy Manley is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Manley shoots for a double leg takedown but Prager sprawls well. He's pushed Manley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

And that's the end of the fight!
Iggy Manley showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Manley, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
