Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Tyson (ranked 896 p4p, 103 weight class) and Rockford Knight (ranked 370 p4p, 43 weight class). Knight has chosen The Stars that Play with Laughing Sams Dice by Jimi Hendrix as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Knight.

Tyson swings for the body but Knight moves out of range.
Knight throws a push kick but Tyson slaps the foot to one side.
A big left from Tyson misses.
Tyson moves out of range of the strikes.
Tyson tried to counter with a leg kick but Knight avoided it.
Knight has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Knight uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tyson.

Tyson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tyson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Knight momentarily.
Knight moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Tyson looks to land a body kick but Knight moved away.
Tyson digs a good body shot into Knight's ribs.

Tyson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Tyson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Knight momentarily.

Knight turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Tyson throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Knight throws a leg kick which misses Tyson's front leg but catches the back leg as Tyson tries to avoid it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tyson throws a solid leg kick but Knight takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Tyson.
Tyson throws a looping overhand right but Knight ducks down to avoid it.
Tyson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
The cut above Rockford Knight's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Knight smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Tyson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Knight takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Knight doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Tyson looks to land a left hand but Knight moved out of range nicely.
Tyson misses with a lunging right hand
and Knight counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Tyson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Knight.
Tyson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Knight stuns Tyson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Tyson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Tyson is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Rocky Tyson will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Tyson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

and Knight connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Tyson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Knight counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Knight feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Tyson sprawling to the canvas! Tyson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Knight finish him?!

A relieved looking Rockford Knight thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
