Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hatfield McCoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Speva Koso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCoy comes to the cage accompanied by Dueling Banjos. Hatfield McCoy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hatfield McCoy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Speva Koso!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCoy misses with a two punch combination.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Koso.
Koso scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
McCoy tries to score with a low kick but Koso moves his leg out of the way.
McCoy throws a poor cross that misses

and Koso counters by moving into the clinch.
McCoy prevents a body shot from Koso.
McCoy tries to break free but Koso pushes him back against the cage.
Koso misses with the head strike.
Koso is struggling to control the position.
McCoy working hard to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McCoy is pushing Koso up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
We've been informed that Koso has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

McCoy has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

and McCoy counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Koso thinking.

Koso has taken the fight to the clinch.
Koso tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

McCoy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Koso tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. McCoy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Koso tries to counter with a clinch but McCoy shakes him off and moves away.

Koso is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables McCoy to keep the fight standing.

Koso ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Koso no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

McCoy wants to pass the guard but Koso is keeping the position.

McCoy slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Koso isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. McCoy stacks Koso on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by McCoy!
Koso regains half guard there - taking advantage of McCoy's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Speva Koso dominated that round.
That's time! McCoy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and McCoy makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
McCoy closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Koso is looking to clinch.
McCoy moves away from the strike by Koso.
A lazy body kick from Koso
letting McCoy counter with a right hand.
Koso lands an overhand right.
McCoy moves out of range of the strikes.
Koso misses with a leg kick
and McCoy counters with a left to the body.

McCoy throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Koso has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Koso avoids the head kick by McCoy.
Koso uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before McCoy has time to react.
Koso stuns McCoy with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
McCoy lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
McCoy takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Koso closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Koso digs a right hand into McCoy's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on McCoy's gas tank.
Koso lands a right hand that snaps the head of McCoy backwards.

McCoy lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McCoy wants to break free but Koso has control.

Koso jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as McCoy walks away with a smile on his face. Koso gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and McCoy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
McCoy misses with a hook. Koso ducked under it nicely.

Koso throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Koso looks to land a body kick but McCoy moved away.
McCoy is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Hatfield McCoy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

McCoy appears to be looking for a big counter.
McCoy moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Koso fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but McCoy is out of range.
Koso takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

McCoy tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Koso throws a wild body kick that McCoy sees coming a mile off.

Koso closes the distance and clinches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Koso goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Koso decides to pull guard.

Koso throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! McCoy escapes and throws Koso's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Hatfield McCoy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Koso sneaks back into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McCoy in particular looking to stall.
Koso is trying to get back to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
McCoy trying to pass the guard but Koso defending well.
Koso has a hand on McCoy's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. McCoy takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
McCoy controlling the pace for now.
Speva Koso is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Koso is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

McCoy avoids the attempt from Koso to control.
Koso keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Koso tries to hold on but McCoy postures up.
McCoy controlling from mount.
Koso is in all sorts of trouble here.
Koso manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Speva Koso comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Koso winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
